digital native vs digital immigrant

Digital native VS Digital immigrant!

Digital native means a person born or brought up during the age of digital technology and so familiar with computers and the internet from an early age.
Sooo who are being called that? The answer is...GEN Z!!! because they are the FIRST generation to grow up with the internet as a part of daily life.

Digital immigrant refers to people who are born or brought up before the widespread use of digital technology. For example, people born before 1985 and who have adopted technology at a point later in life or people are 30 or older.

Being a digital native can learn and embrace new technology with ease since they grew up in a digital age. But they might go through social isolation and mental health issues because technology can hinder the development of essential social skills like face to face communication or how to greet people respectfully.

Being a digital immigrant may need special training or help to get use to the modern technology but they are less likely to be scrolling their phones and can enjoy the moment they are having and they are mostly goal oriented.
