Konnichiwa, Hajime everyone!
Most people think I'm from Japan because of my bangs. I mean, I get it, they’re pretty stylish, right?
But SURPRISE! or maybe not --" I'm actually from Cambodia and I'm currently studying in Melbourne, Australia. Today, I'm going to take you through my daily routine as an international student.
I usually wake up around 7 AM, unless my bed decides it loves me too much to let go. My alarm goes off, and I snooze it more times than I'd like to admit. First things first, I check my phone. Because, you know, I have to make sure the world didn’t end while I was asleep, and I’m the last to find out. After that I make my bed. Next up is my skincare routine. Gotta keep this face fresh! Oh, and before I forget, I also check the weather. Melbourne's mood swings are real, so I need to figure out if I'm dressing for summer or winter today! But I guess it will always be a winter to me..

Time to head to the university. Melbourne's public transport is like a slow roller coaster that stops every few blocks. It’s perfect for people-watching or pretending to be in a music video. Classes start around 9 AM or 10 AM, so I aim to get there an hour before. However, let's be real sometimes I'm too tempted by the comfort of my bed make it a challenge to get moving. So, I might end up late to class more often than I'd like to admit!
Beautiful scenery from Parliament station to ACU :
During class, we usually enjoy the 10 AM classes more than the 9 AM ones. There's just something about that extra hour of sleep that makes everything better. Lunchtime! Some of us pack our lunch from home, some of us buy from the cafeteria, and sometimes we head out for McDonald's nearby.
We're usually done with classes around 3 or 4 PM. Sometimes I go out with friends, and other times I head straight home. If I do go home, I take a nap because who doesn't love naps? Then I wake up to cook dinner and prep lunch for tomorrow. Oh, and my parents call me every evening to make sure I'm not skipping dinner. They’ve got a sixth sense for that!;)))
After I eat and finish housework (not every day, because I'm too lazy for that), I take a shower and then enjoy watching YouTube or playing games in bed. Once I finish my school assessment, I usually fall asleep mid-YouTube video. Classic me! Maybe NOT. Nothing sounds interesting in my daily life because my bedroom is my kingdom.
