A day in Helen's digital life!

 Good morning, everyone

So in this post, I’m going to take you through how I use digital tools and apps that I always use from waking up to going to bed.

Welcome back to my "digital daily life", yayyyyyy 😝

Let's get started!

Morning routine 🌞

Clock

The alarm wakes me up every morning, without it, I would not be able to wake up and go to school on time.

Weather

I always check the weather before I leave home. I'm a big believer in Melbourne's weather forecast because if the app shows 80% of it will rain then it definitely happens and that way, I will know what outfit I should wear to match the weather outside.

PTV

Then, I also check the PTV app to make sure that I do not miss any bus or train.

During my travel 🚇

I think Spotify is a common app for young generations around the world, and I am no exception. Every day I go to school I always listen to all genres of music while I travel on the bus or train, if not I will feel very bored.

Study or Work

In class, I always use the ACU website to log in to Canvas to find the due date of assignments or check my grades

At the moment, I am working on a graduation project, so I use Word as a tool to help me create a report.

I use Teams to update the new notices from teachers and find the documents that the teachers upload every week.

I use this app to study PTE.

Since I came to Australia, I have known and used Outlook, it is a tool for me to check mail and send mail to all teachers at ACU.

I use Gmail to receive emails and check my work with the instructor in Vietnam.

Social media platforms

After I finish class, I always spend my time on social media to reduce my stress.

I use Messenger to call my family or have a chit-chat with my classmates.

Facebook provides a variety of entertainment content, from videos, and articles, to online games so, I can easily find content that matches my interests.

Tiktok

Instagram is a tool for me to keep in touch with friends, I am an introverted person so I can set my account private to post anything I like without judgment. I just unlock and accept the followers whom I know.

Where I can watch any kind of video, or I can learn new things from there. For example, if I want to cook something I just type the keyword, and then it will appear a lot of videos where I can find the recipes.

Zalo is a cross-platform instant messaging application developed by VNG company in Vietnam. I use this app to communicate with the instructor who instructs me to write a report.

Entertainment

When I have free time or nothing to do, I usually open YouTube to listen to music or watch Vietnamese reality shows to boost my mood better.

This is the video that I watch most often on YouTube when I am on the way to school or staying at home. This is a music reality show that is very famous in Vietnam and is loved by many young people 😁
