A day in Luyi's digital life

INTRODUCTION:

Hi! Guys~ In this post I'm going to take you through how I use digital tools and apps around my 24-hours. (TikTok, WeChat, Instagram……)

So welcome to my “DIGITAL DAILY LIFE” blog!

Morning routine

Wake up

	I usually wake up to listen to the alarm on my phone.
	I always open the weather app every night to check the weather for the next day and think about what to wear in advance. (I probably have a little bit of obsessive-compulsive disorder, I must do this in advance, otherwise I will have trouble sleeping and feeling insecure)
	I haven't been sleeping well recently, I don't know why, so I often open DOUYIN(Chinese version TikTok) to listen to some stories to help me sleep. Although it sometimes doesn’t work.

Every morning when I hear the alarm, I'm sure that I  will go crazy and  don't want to wake up😴especially in the winter.

Getting ready

	I use Google Maps or PTV to check my tram and traffic conditions before I go out.
	Look at how long it will take me to tram at this time, whether there is a traffic jam or something.
	Next up is my favorite part, putting on earphones and go to the, QQ music, NetEase music or Spotify and playing my morning playlist, so that at least most of the time I'm in a good mood at the start of the day.

 

Commute I usually spend nearly two hours commuting to and from campus on tram. On the way, sometimes I use Spotify to listen to songs, and sometimes I watch DOUYIN(Chinese version Tik Tok). Oh actually I use YouTuBe tto listen ABC News as well, (?)maybe it kind of helps with my English listening and also I can know what happens every day.

Study

The next part is my daily study life, and my digital life is the most active at that time as well.

	Indispensable for classes is the Teams, all the documents and weekly materials (study tasks, PowerPoint, etc.) can easily found on here.
	ACU's learning website – Canvas. We can find any details here and if we have anything that confusing, it will be very helpful.
	This app received all the email, it’s remind me a lot.

Evening routine👀

If I don't have any study tasks when I get home, I'm crazy on social media.

	I love watch vlogs on it, especially some Mukbangs from Korea.👀
	It’s Chinese version TikTok called DOUYIN and I am keen on it.
	It’s Chinese version YouTube called bilibili.
	It’s like an encyclopedia, I always can know almost everything through this app, such as dress and match, make-up sharing, recipe, etc.(XIAOHONSHU)
	All kinds of political and entertainment news, or like different types of bloggers share a lot of different things which is super interesting. (Weibo)
	I keep contact with my friends as well as classmates in Instgram everyday. So I guess don’t need to say lot about this one. We all  know very well.
	WeChat, it’s a Chinese app that I use for contact with my family and my friends in China. I chat with my friends, also the video call with my parents and share my daily life on it which is super great.
