Introduction
In this post, I’m going to take you through how I use digital tools and apps on any given day from the moment I wake up until I go to bed. Different digital apps with different functions.
Waking Up
Weather app: to check the day's forecast
Messenger and Instagram apps: to check if there’s something important for me to know
Getting Ready
Smart mirror displaying calendar, traffic, and other relevant information
Spotify, YouTube or Musi apps: streaming app to play morning playlist
Commute
Google Map, PTV or Ventura Tracker: Navigation app for directions, real-time traffic updates, and bus/train departures
Studying
Set up desktop computer/Laptop/iPad
Productivity suite: Microsoft Team, Canvas, Longman dictionary, Microsoft 365, etc.
Social media apps for a quick scroll: Facebook, Instagram, Tik-Tok, Messenger, Telegram, etc.
Online shopping or banking apps: Temu, Shein, Commonwealth bank, ANZ app, ABA, etc.
Relaxation
Streaming service for movies/TV shows
Listening to music/Watching movies/Vlog
Bedtime Routine
Smart home app to control lighting, temperature, and other connected devices
Sleep tracking app or wearable device
White noise or meditation app to aid in falling asleep

Conclusion
To sum up, there are so many apps that enable us to be more productive, connected and entertained throughout the day. Some of them are very useful for your daily life. However, there might be some disadvantages if you use it too much. For example, some social media apps like Facebook or Instagram, sometimes it shows some awkward information or pictures which will ruin your day as well. Moreover, it is important to balance your time with digital usage during the day.
