Daily life and digital usage
Due to the ever-developing technology, in today age’s I believe it almost impossible for anyone to live their day-to-day life without relying on any digital apps at all. And I honestly consider myself to be quite a digital user, as I tend to used it out through the day for a variety of reasons. Either, it for work or study, Leisure and entertainment, or used of apps for convinces.
Work and study
Technology app that focuses on studying and researching are really important aspect of my life. Especially, as a student the used for apps like “Microsoft office” are really essential for me in order to complete assessments, assignments or even presentation slide. And apps like “Canvas” “safari” are crucial for doing research or to look up materials for revising. On the other hand, there are app like “chat GPT” that consider to be bad usage by university, but it still beneficial as it helps with looking for unique ideas to improve the research even more simply by rephrasing or take the ideas and do proper research on it. Besides that, social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook are also a usage for studying in some cases, it can either to access easy communication for doing work like group project or asking classmate for help when there a problem occurred relating to study. While, platforms like “outlook” are what I usually used instead, if I want to contact with my teacher.
Leisure & entertainment
Outside of being used for study, I also use some others forms of technology app to ease or relax myself or simply an activity to do on my free time for fun. Apps like “Netflix’ is my go-to films/series streaming site to watch all kind of movies. Or “video games” app is another activity I usually like to do too, as it put me in a moment where I only focus on winning the game I’m playing, which help me to forget unwanted feeling or stress-free myself. There are also others that I like to use for the same purpose such as social platform “Facebook’ and “Instagram” or music app like “Spotify”, even binge-watching random videos on “YouTube”.
Convenience apps
There are also many apps with specific benefit use for easy access. Like “Google map” which is used for searching places and look for direction to location I’ve never been to before or even to know a time when to catch a bus. Or apps like “Uber-eat” and door dash to get food easily simply from a click of a button on your phone without exhausting your energy getting ready and having to go out to get those food too. And especially, “bank” app where you can store most of your money easily without having to carry ton of money in your wallet or simply having an easy time transferring your money to someone you owe, food, or eve buying without a hassle.
